Preparing for Your Program

  • Reserve dates for your visit -- up to a year in advance. A signed Camp Use Agreement secures your dates.
  • Talk with EE Program Manager to discuss program basics so that a Camp Use Agreement can be made
  • Check with school risk manager about insurance if your school is not part of state insurance pool
  • Review contract and send in deposit
  • Meet with EE Program Manager to determine program details – ideally 3-6 months in advance
  • Arrange for fund raising if necessary
  • Recruit cabin leaders (chaperones)
  • Arrange transportation
  • Designate Health Care responsibilities, collect any necessary student/adult health forms, get info from parents about your students’ medications
  • Get information to all people coming to camp about what to pack
  • Gather information on student/adult special diets, food allergies, etc. for kitchen staff
  • Arrange Camp Info Night for parents (optional)
  • Send Special Dietary Needs form to Camp two weeks before arrival (required form can be found at the end of this packet)
  • Share Expectations and review Camper Code of Conduct with students before arrival. Recommended form can be found at the end of this packet.
